I am best known for my artistic range and no series of my work is this better reflected than in my portraits. The technique in commissioned portraits are dictated generally by age and purpose. A child is best rendered in pastels or oil washes to hang in ones home whereas the official portraits I have done in Washington of Generals, politicians and foreign heads of state are mostly oil on canvas and hang in museums or offices.
My self portraits have been so well received I offer clients the same which is a more psychological treatment of the subject in as many diverse mediums as there are unique individuals such as collage used in “Fractured Bull”—a portrait of a hard working, kind hearted CEO.
Prices for portraiture given these parameters vary greatly—each arrived at by open, frank communication between the artist and sitter.
